Q

What is the difference between a Quality Inspector and a Production Operative?

A

At Phoenix, we have two main distinct classifications of shop floor workers. Quality Inspectors are selected from candidates who fulfill our required skills criteria of having had specific training or relevant experience within an automotive quality environment. To validate this, we screen and test candidates during the recruitment stage, and keep records of this in their personnel file. A Production Operative will have experience in light assembly and single process flow assembly work, but will not necessarily have the relevant experience or training and skills to perform a critical inspection process. Having the two separate positions allows our customers to get exactly the right person at exactly the right price.

Q

How much do you charge for your services?

A

We have a range of services and charge rates are set accordingly. Depending on our customers needs, we can tailor make a package that is right for a particular project, ensuring that cost targets are met and everything is always transparent.

Q

How is Phoenix QS different from other companies offering similar services?

A

At Phoenix, our entire business model has been developed from the ground up, not just copied from existing models. For example; as all of our customers differ in terms of their needs, we offer our workers a variety of employment  contracts according to the duration of the project they will be assigned to. The traditional "unofficial" practice is to simply use self employed workers only - eliminating the need to obtain an ADZ license. However, by just using self employed temps, there is a higher risk of personel rotation / fluctuation, which is completely counter productive in a complex process driven environment, as there is a constant need to retrain new temps. Phoenix also offers employees training in various industry recognized skills and qualifications, to ensure standardisation throughout our business and yours. ALL of our employees are screened and tested before recruitment, and a strict pass rate for our means tests are enforced, ensuring we recruit only the highest scoring candidates. Our focus is on true flexibility of workforce and cost. Finally, if more complex levels of service are required, Phoenix QS management team have the necessary experience, qualifications and industry skills to meet your needs.

Q

How quickly can you support us?

A

It really depends on the job, but in general, Phoenix has the fastest response time in the business, with all of our customers testifying that we were able to deploy workers to their sites MUCH faster than other companies they had used in the past. Typically, we can have small quantities of workers at a customer's site within hours, and larger projects have been assembled with just a few days notice.

Q

What are your payment terms?

A

Our standard payment terms are 15 days from date of invoice. However, extended payment terms are available by agreement for larger projects, if you have already used our services and have a satisfactory payment record.
